Before and Continuing

The first pic with Sam and I was taken Oct 23, 2008 1 week before I had surgery. The second pic of me in the Black outfit was taken April 26, 2009 5 months after surgery. The last three were taken today January 16, 2010. The jeans I'm holding up are the same jeans I have on in the before pic. So far to date I have lost 141lbs.

More Christmas Pics

Parsons Christmas 2009

We went to Christmas at the Zoo the weekend before Christmas and had a great time. Christmas Eve we had dinner with Mom and Dad who spent the night. Of course we had our Big Country Breakfast including Mamie and Pappy Christmas morning. Being with Family means everything when celebrating the Holidays. Mandy, Andy and William were missed bunches.

Pack 617 2010 Pinewood Derby

Samuel had his first Pinewood Derby today and we had a great time. He came in 2nd place in his Den and 14th in the Grand Finale Race. He also won Best Graphics for his car.

The Middle School Winter Dance

Jessie had her first school dance for middle school. Her and her friends went together. Apparently she had a great time. She reported afterwords that she was asked to dance twice by eigth graders...Of course she said yes. She told me the other day that she was not my baby girl anymore. After seeing her in her dress and makeup I think she is right.

Parsons Halloween 2009

We had a good Halloween this year. The neighbors on our court get into the spirit. Sam and I sat on our front porch to pass out candy while the kids walked around with the other kids and their parents on our court. I even had our neighborhood cat, Harry, to keep my lap warm. It was slightly chilly and the warm cat and hot coffee helped. I think Samuel brought home more candy than we passed out. He did bring home better candy than we passed out that's for sure.

Mandy's visit in October

Mandy and William were able to come back and visit in October. Mandy had a conference to go to so William spent his days with Mamaw. I unfortunatley did not get a lot of pictures, but did get these pictures before they left.
